Fred Ricaurte
style
Diversity is the best way to describe Fred Ricaurte's music.

Using folk, rock and blues as well as Latin styles, Fred hopes to reach the believer and non-believer alike with the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Fred has been involved with Christian music for 20 years.

At the time of his conversion, He was introduced to the "Jesus" music of the late 70's and was amazed by the contemporary sound and the variety of artists and styles.

Inspired by this "new" music and his newly found faith, he soon began writing his own Christian songs.

He began ministering by sharing his songs as "special" music in his church. Soon he was performing in local coffee houses, concerts and in other churches.

The diversity of styles Fred uses in concert has a unique way of drawing in an audience no matter what age or background.

A mixture of light hearted humor with serious talk about faith in the "real world", allows him to share from his own personal experiences with honesty and vulnerability.

presentation
People everywhere are delighted by Fred Ricaurte's local All-Star bands.

Fred will often put together a cadre of talented Christian musicians for a very entertaining presentation of original and popular Christian rock music.

"Fred & Friends," is what he calls the group when he assembles them.

Or at times he will put together a 3-piece unplugged show.

But even Fred alone is lacking nothing in concert.

The implied rhythms and the infectious sound of his guitar and voice bring his message and ministry with impact and poignancy. All in the contemporary acoustic, rock and Latin styles that are so popular today.

ministry
Fred has written several worship songs that are regularly sung on Sunday mornings in churches of his home area of Moline, Illinois.

Two of his more popular worship songs are included on his recent debut CD.

Fred's mission is to continue to use the talent God has blessed him so abundantly with to be a blessing to others.

And to use his music to introduce Jesus to the lost, and to encourage fellow Christians in their walk with God.
